Reading in Hospital Chapel This Wednesday 2pm

"Participants in the regular Wednesday afternoon creative writing sessions, facilitated by University Hospital Arts Trust Writer-in-Residence, Kevin Higgins, at University Hospital Galway (UHG) are looking forward to sharing the fruits of their labour with a reading of their work on Wednesday next May 21 at 2.00pm in the Chapel at University Hospital Galway (UHG).
There will also be a reading of poems, on the subject of health and hospitals, written by students at Scoil Íde in Salthill following a writing workshop  Kevin Higgins facilitated with fifth class students there, as part of his work as University Hospital Arts Trust Writer-in-Residence.

And Kevin Higgins will also read some poems from his new book, ‘The Ghost in the Lobby’. In particular, he will be reading poems written in response to his Mother’s illness and death in 2011.

All welcome to attend. If you don’t know where the Hospital Chapel is, just go in the main entrance at UHG and ask at reception."
